About
I was raised in rural Arkansas and earned my BA from Vanderbilt University, where I studied writing with A. Manette Ansay, Mark Jarman, and Philip Levine. Since then, I’ve lived in New York City, London, and Seattle. In 2013, I closed my shop in Seattle, Spine and Crown Books, to join the MFA program at Syracuse University. I currently work for Syracuse University in the Center for Disability Resources and as a Visiting Instructor at SUNY ESF.
